Biography of Jose Marti in brief:

Jose Marti was born on 26, January 1853, in Havana.
He belonged to a poor Spanish immigrant family.
From an early age, Jose started to show his writing talent but before that, he tried painting but later turned to write.
As at the age of 16 his work of poetry and other work was published and became quite famous.
Jose also Developed a sense of political consciousness and wanted to liberate Cuba from Spanish rule.
For that purpose lose Created a newspaper La Patria Libre, In which he published his poems and works that represented the freedom of an imaginary country.
Due to these Criticm Jose was sentenced to Hard Labor For Six Years.
After getting Out in 1871 he was departed to Spain.
In pain, he published the pamphlet Political Imprisonment In Cuba, Describing harsh life in Cuban jails.
he also completed his studies in Madrid and got a degree in 1874.
